I have hidden the biggest treasure in the world somewhere.” The One Piece is this treasure, and it is somewhere on the Grandline.
So the great age of pirates began… Monkey D. Ruffy is 16 years old and has a big goal: he wants to be king of the pirates and find the treasure One Piece. Ruffy is a rubber man with special abilities from the devil’s fruit “GumGum.” He dreams about the pirate Shanks, who once saved his life, and Ruffy, who gave him his very important straw hat just before he left.
He has to find a crew and a ship first… As soon as you say it, you do it! With the strong swordsman Zorro, the liar Usopp, the pretty Nami, the master chef Sanji, and later the moose chopper and a few other people, he makes a strange but perfect team. The “straw hat gang,” which got its name from Ruffy’s straw hat, has a lot of trouble with her crazy rubber cap, but that’s not the only problem. Lots of creeps get in their way. For example, Captain Black wanted to destroy Usopp’s village, Arlong is to blame for Nami’s dark past, and so on. The Navy also stands in the way of the gang…
About the manga One Piece
Eiichiro Oda wrote and drew the popular manga series “One Piece.” Since July 22, 1997, it has been published in Shueisha’s Weekly Shnen Jump magazine, and as of September 2021, it has been collected into 96 tankbon volumes. The story is about the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy, a young boy whose body turns into rubber after he eats a Devil Fruit by accident, and his crew of pirates, the Straw Hat Pirates. Together, they search the Grand Line for the world’s greatest treasure, called “One Piece,” so that they can become the Pirate King. The manga has been made into an anime series, several movies, and a lot of video games. It has become one of the best-selling manga series of all time.
The manga series One Piece was made by Eiichiro Oda. He also draws the pictures for each book in the series. Since the 22nd of July 1997, the manga has been in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. It has been collected into 104 tankbon volumes as of November 2022. The main character of this book is Monkey D. Luffy, a young boy whose body turns into rubber after he accidentally eats a Devil Fruit. In the story, Monkey D. Luffy’s adventures are told. In 1998, Production I.G made an original video animation (OVA) based on the manga, and in 1999, Toei Animation made an anime series based on the manga that started airing in Japan. The original work was used as the basis for both of these versions. Toei has also made a total of thirteen full-length movies, one original animation video, and eleven TV specials. Several different companies have made a wide range of products, like trading card games and video games. The rights to publish the manga in English in North America and the UK have been given to Viz Media. In Australia, the rights have been given to Madman Entertainment. In 2004, 4Kids Entertainment licensed the anime for an English-language release in North America. In 2007, the license was cancelled, and Funimation bought it. This release, though, never happened.
One Piece has been praised for its story, its art, its characters, and even its humor. Some of the volumes of the manga have set new standards for publishing. They were the first books in Japan to be printed in the most numbers. On the official website for the One Piece manga, it was said that the manga broke a Guinness World Record for “the most copies issued for the same comic book series by a single author.” The only person who made the One Piece comics is Eiichiro Oda. As of May 2018, it is thought that more than 440 million copies of the manga have been sold around the world. This makes it the best-selling manga series of all time. One Piece also kept its title as the best-selling manga series for the ninth year in a row.
